2005 — Creative roots
SOONSIKI began as a creative hair studio focused on free-spirited, spontaneous styling under the slogan “STYLE & IMAGE”, treating hairstyles as visual art that expresses identity.

2007 — SOONSIKI HAIR
The brand was renamed SOONSIKI HAIR to connect more closely with a wider audience.

2008 — Hongdae concept salon
The flagship salon moved to Hongdae, Seoul, pioneering the “Concept Salon” idea and helping redefine local beauty culture.

2010 — Beauty + advertising
A beauty and advertising company was launched, combining salon expertise with creative content production for SNS-driven beauty marketing.

Formerly “Romantic”, the salon is now “Moment”: newly renovated, on the 8th floor with panoramic Hongdae views, a lounge-like space and a dedicated perm zone.

Seung Il has led SOONSIKI HAIR as Head Stylist & CEO since 2005, taking the brand to Hongdae as a concept salon in 2008 and serving as a portfolio member of L’Oréal Asia and digital marketing advisor to L’Oréal Professionnel Paris (2015–2017). A Master Craftsman Barber, he has spoken at international hair seminars in Tokyo, Ho Chi Minh and Taiwan, joined Shanghai Fashion Week, judged the Asia Hair Designer Festival and won gold at the Daegu Barber Contest.
